What a day yesterday!!
We have no way to estimate how many participants.  Guestimates suggest that there were at least 2000 people there!!!
A quick preliminary announcement on the funds raised….$120,000 and rising.  There are a few more late events planned for the Race for Grace.  Check the website. We’ll keep you up to date on events and a tally of funds raised.

Dear Friends of Grace,
 
As you all know, we traveled to North Captiva Island on Mother’s Day for a week of fun in the sun on an island best described as paradise.  The journey had 6 legs:  drive to airport, fly to Baltimore, fly to Ft. Meyers, taxi to Pine Island, boat to North Captiva, Golf Cart to house.  Each time required packing and unpacking of bags, strollers, car seats and kids.  It was a ton of work.  Was it worth it all you may wonder?  Let me tell you what happened and you can decide.
